RE: Florence Brokaw
Also, if you're interested, I have other information regarding Florence Brokaw. She was VERY wealthy. She was originally married to James E. Martin, a partner with John D. Rockefeller, the owner of Standard Oil. They lived in one of the grandest estates on Long Island's Gold Coast (Google "James E Martin Estate Great Neck"). When Mr. Martin died, she married Dr. Preston Pope and he moved in with Florence. She was a HUGE philanthropist. A close friend of my family's father was their head coach driver. I have many original photos of the estate.

Hi Florence. Sorry for the late reply. I don't get onto Find A Grave that often. What is your relationship to Florence Satterwhite?

I e-mailed you three pictures of the Gratton grave site in Twentynine Palms. I hope they work out for you.

Hi Isabelle,

So happy to hear that I accidentaly helped you with your family.

My project for this winter is to add all the photos I have to pages for people in Mount Pleasant. 9,000 sounds like a lot, but when you work on one letter at a time it is not so onerous. Completed the Cs yesterday only 23 more letters to go!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend

Alison
