|I grew up in Gratis, Ohio, next to the cemetery there. I was always fascinated by cemeteries and found it so interesting to walk through. We were taught to be VERY respectful of all the graves. Even though we rode our bicycles in the cemetery, we never ran and screamed or yelled there. It was a place we respected.|
I am thrilled to discover www.findagrave.com. And I applaud whomever started it and has kept it free!

You're welcome. My Dad, grandparents, great & great great grandparents are all interred @ Fairview & as kids we would decorate the graves with my Mom. I already had the Noe photo, I've been trying to update the records since the last walk through done in 1974-75 & taking photos of almost all of the headstones not already input on Find A Grave website. As we were pulling into the cemetery my 2 yr grandson said " I don't want to plant flowers"....I really don't think he's ever been with me when I've planted flowers, maybe watering them & besides it is winter & cold.
