 | You're Welcome I was glad to help. I've discovered that even though I can't seem to find time to exercise. I will happily make time to walk a cemetery. Someone told me that Pine Hill is about 40 acres. I should be trim and fit in no time! :) Seriously, I'm glad to have helped in finding the photo that you needed. Have a wonderful evening. | RE: Woodrow Miles Hmmmm.... the more I think of it, there may be a Caulder family plot in that section. I am in there all the time, and most all of my deceased family members are there. For some reason that last name is nagging at me. If I didn't have this cold, I'd go back today. Will wait until Monday until I feel better and walk it over again.
I hope you have a Blessed Easter also.

 | RE: Woodrow Miles I will try again. I think he must be there. Thanks for this wife's maiden name. It is possible that he was interred in her family's plot. I have seen that before. I'll go back out again and give it another try. :-)
Take care, TammyAdded by Tammy on Mar 30, 2013 1:45 PM | |

 | Woodrow Miles Hi, I had a really hard time with Woodrow Miles. The section he is supposed to be in is very small. I walked it over and one thing I did find is another Miles grave with what looks like an unmarked grave beside of it. Does the name Warren W. Miles b1917 d 1955 ring a bell? I am going to post it anyway and will try to reach the groundkeeper to see if I somehow missed Woodrow Miles' gravesite. ~TammyAdded by Tammy on Mar 28, 2013 2:03 PM | |

 | RE: Thanks-a-Million Ann,
You're very welcome! The section that Louis is buried in does not have "lots" (family plots) like much of the rest of Spring Grove does. Section B has individual spaces. According to Spring Grove's website, space 683 is Shirley Baker and space 685 is Evelyn Lowers. According to their burial reports, neither one has an obvious connection with Mr. Kern. His marker reads "Special Friend" in lower right hand corner. Maybe he wasn't married and just had a "special friend"? But no indication of that on his burial report either. Don't know if they would have included that kind info on their burial reports then or not.

 | RE: Thanks-a-Million Ann - you're welcome - we had a short warm period where it melted off the snow so decided to run over there to the cemetery and see if I could find this one for you. Wasn't far off the road so glad I could do this.
