I have been conducting genealogy research since 2006. Prominent names in my research are Jackson, Baker, Wickham, Richardson, Heidtman/Heidtmann, Stilb, Domrose, Geske, Michels, Shumacher, Guse, Kitzman, McCurdy, Cox, Bunker, Baker, Hayden, McKune, Moore, Lawrence, Rosier, Green, Mechling, Slack, Plichta, Mikolajczak, Petty, Jarratt, Skaife, Langridge, Martin, Tuckwood and course, many, many others......…..
I am currently assisting the City of Crandon Public Library in documenting all persons buried in the Crandon Lakeside Cemetery. (Both of my parents kin come from Crandon, Wisconsin.) I have taken over 3,000 pictures in the cemetery and have posted the headstone pictures to their memorials.
Headstone photographs I have uploaded to the memorials were taken by me. You may use those for your own personal genealogical endeavors. Credit is appreciated if you do use those.
If I have created a page you would like transferred, do not hesitate to contact me. Best Regards, Kevin Jackson

Hello Kevin, I am researching the Wickham and Bowman families from the Crandon area. I am looking for the grave of a Daniel Boone Bowman who according to his dead certificate is buried in Crandon. Any assistance in locating that grave would be appreciated.
Also, do you happen to be related to Elnora Wickham Jackson?

So glad to help.

Hi Kevin. Thank you for the edit. I appreciate all the help I can get. I just live here, this is not my family if you are interested in a transfer. I also have a virtual list of pictures (I have photographed all of the Hurley Cemetery) that I need to double check for and/or improve. I will go again and check to see if there is one for this person. Thanks again for your assistance, Lynn

Hi Kevin, I am working on the Morgan Family, and trying to find burials. Unfortunately, they are not all recorded in Find-A-Grave. I will make edits as I find them, but in the meantime, I have some information. Use this information as you see fit, on Josephine's memorial, but please don't feel obligated.
I sent the edit for Josephine's father, Harvey James Morgan, but still looking for her mother's burial. This is her mother's info:
Laura A. Wilbur
Born 1838 in Massachussets
Died April 18, 1873 in Shawano County, Wisconsin

My name is Katie Nehls. I have Schumacher in my line. I had no idea that some lived in Crandon. My Dad's Mom was Emma Schumacher Nehls from Wittenberg Wi. My Dad John Nehls grew up in Rhinelander, Wi and our family still lives there. I don't think he even know he had relatives from his Dad's Mom's side living there and maybe their descendant's still live in that area? Thank you for posting all of those burial plots. It's interesting to figure it all out.

Hi Kevin. Ephraim is my great great grandfather. I had been searching for his grave and was so happy to find it. I cleaned the stone of 100+ years of grime and it looks great now. I am so glad that you got in contact with me. I have been doing the Town family genealogy and have read of Albert and Hattie. I would really like to know more of my extended family. My family and ancestors have become very important to me.
I live in Iron Mountain, MI. Where are you from?
|Melody Chapman||RE: Ephraim Town|
He is in Riverside Cemetery in Appleton, WI. Are you a relative?
|Cindy Swagler||Forest Shorey|
Kevin - I'm not sure if you can help me, but I have the personal "Individual Deceased Personal File" for Forest Shorey.
The reason I have this is because my uncle was on the same plane that crashed on October 1, 1944 in Italy. In trying to obtain my uncle's file, the researcher I hired was sent Mr. Shorey's file instead.
Since you are involved with the cemetery where Mr. Shorey is buried, I thought you may be aware of family members who may, or may not be interested, in the file.
You may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
