|Genealogy has been one of my hobbies since 1966. I am a member of The Tracy Reunion Association. It has existed since 1895 and was Incorporated in 1901. I served as President for 5 years from 1996 to 2001. It is comprised of the descendants of Jonathan Tracy who settled in Gouldsboro, Maine in 1762. |
Since becoming a member here I've done quite a bit of work helping to complete the posting of the Bean Cemetery in Sidney, ME.,the Cottle Cemetery in Augusta, ME., and the Case Cemetery in Readfield, ME. - also providing photographs of the markers. I have several more currently in the works.
Everyone's work will preserve this history as time continues to erase the writing on many of these markers.

Thank you ever so much for the transfers. It is through folks like you that makes this site so much more rewarding.

My son Kyle Lee cleaned and transcribed each stone. He also raked and removed several trailer loads of leaves and brush from this cemetery. He did this as a project for his Eagle rank. He has pictures and on disk what each stone reads if this can assist you with adding info to this site. Also this cemetery is land locked so permission needs to be obtained by Stan Getchell . This cemetery is in such great shape because of their watchful eye!

I did not add him. if you look I think it was Bev Winship. If you use the edit tab on his page it will sent it to her. I am more then happy to add links and information to any that I have added.
It is nice to see new members adding photos. Maine has a lot of old and small cemetery's. I try to get all the stones in the small cemetery's when I can.
