RE: Beard
Vena, Yes....It gets quite confusing sometimes. Especially since the twins named sons:
Aaron had a son named Aaron Moses
Moses had a son Aaron and one Moses
and the twins brother, John had sons named Aaron and Moses

Aaron's son, Aaron Moses, appears sometimes in records inaccurately as a junior. This has added to the confusion of Aaron being assumed to be Aaron Moses.

I have done extensive research on this family for years. Let me know if I can be of any further help.

How do you descend? I descend from twin Aaron who came to Mississippi, his son John, his son William, his son Charles, his son William (my grandfather).

Have a good day. Chris

Hi again Vena. I realized you may have been referring to a particular memorial. Give me more details and I will check into it. Hoping to clear up the confusion and mystery.
Thanks. Chris

RE: Following My Family Tree
Hi Vena. I am confused as to what "Aaron Moses Beard" you are referring to. Aaron and Moses were twins born in 1797. They were sons of John and Mary Blackstock Beard. This has been well documented for years though pension records, the original family Bible and DAR. The twin Moses, married Margaret Potts and Mary L. Morton. He remained in Tennessee had a large family. Aaron m/ Kizziah Carter, and they removed to Mississippi.
Hope that clears some of this up for you.
