RE: Newman Anderson
Although not directly related, he is the husband of a great aunt and I had taken this photo for my early pre-computer genealogy files several years ago. His nickname "Dock" was altered to us as children, "Daddy Dock". In his time, he was a rancher and commercial hog buyer who would buy locally and ship large loads to the Fort Worth Texas market. I'm glad to share it.

Ruth Mattix Enlow
You have Ruth listed as a sibling of Margaret and Cinderella Mattix but most Mattix researchers have her as their aunt. They believe Ruth Mattix Enlow was the dau. of Edward "Ned" Mattix, Sr. & was the sister of Edward Mattix who was married to Elizabeth Bond.

RE: Hiram Carter
It is nice to meet you too. I descend through his son Seaborn Thomas Carter. I found the rest of Hiram's children and have requested they be linked to him. I am trying to locate a copy of Hiram's estate settlement dated 1 May 1858 that is mentioned by several online for a DAR supplement. I am going to have to make a request for it at the county level, I guess. Thanks for your Find A Grave work!
