|After I took an early retirement in 2009, I returned to my genealogy research that I began in 1979. Most of my immediate ancestors are buried in Grant County, Arkansas. Almost all of my Mother's side of the family are buried in Orion Cemetery, founded in 1860, located in north Grant County. Over the years, family members have volunteered in the maintenance of the books that list the graves in Orion Cemetery. Being familiar with spreadsheets, I knew that we could manage the 2000 gravesites with a spreadsheet showing grave locations along with the names and dates on the gravestones. I found that two of my family members had the same idea of using a spreadsheet. The three of us worked together to create the Orion Cemetery Book printed in 2011. The book was purchased and then used to populate Find a Grave. In 2009, I was elected by the Orion Cemetery Association to be the Historian.|

|Sue Thompson Patterson||Orion Cemetery Book|
Is there any way that I can purchase a copy of the book you mentioned in your bio? We have so many Pattersons, and in-laws buried there, that it might help me fill in some blanks. Thank you very kindly.

Thank you so very kindly for your great pictures of James and Annie Bell's headstone and grave. I truly do appreciate your time and energy to help us fellow researchers out.
If you run across Aeria (Arie) K. McCraw Patterson Mustain (born @1835 and died after May 9 1910 but before 1920). Last known residence was in Barraque, Jefferson, AR. living with son & d-i-l Andrew Jackson "Jack" Patterson and Nancy Lucinda Waldo Patterson who are both buried in Orion Cemetery. I was told that their headstones could no longer be read so there are no headstone pictures for them. They are buried next to their son George Washington "Doc" Patterson (1902-1968). The reason I am asking is because the Pattersons have numerous family members buried in Orion Cemetery, and I thought she might be buried next to her husband (if he was buried there) George Washington Patterson (1827-1872). We have been looking for the graves of Arie and George for years. As an Orion Researcher, I thought you might run across them. If so, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Again thank you for the great photos. God's blessings.

Thank you so very much for taking and posting the tombstone photographs for Ileene Freeman and Cecilia Stuckey Duncan in Orion Cemetery.
Thank you so very much.

Certainly! I'd rather their memorials were in the care of a close family member. Blessings to you. CJ
