I became interested in genealogy about 8 - 10 years ago and discovered that it is a fascinating hobby. Originally from North Carolina, I have been living in Georgia for many years and want to document as much as I can about my ancestors so I can pass the knowledge to my children.

Pearl Winona Peters
Sorry, I am not related to Pearl Winona Peters, I simple posted Pearl Winona Peters on Find A Grace for the interesting of Genealogy. I have many relatives buried in Morning View Cemetery at Bluff City, TN.
Maybe Teresa Stevens can help, she posted Pearl Winona Peters' Tombstone photo and lives in Bluff City, TN. I am in Michigan.

There is the child at the Brodnax cemetery and a gentleman with the exact same name buried at Lawnwood in Covington where my parents are.

RE: Do you have dates for Benjamin?
Birth: Mar. 16, 1863
Death: Nov. 22, 1900

Weird thing is I have that Ben died in 1899 but his marker says 1900

The Georgia Enterprise, December 1, 1899
Mr. S. B. Ellington Dead
On Friday morning last, news was received in the city that Mr. S. B.
Ellington had been found dead near San Francisco California. The news came by
wire to the dead man's brother, Mr. S. R. Ellington, and was sent by the
coroner

Date on Grave marker must be incorrect!
I wonder if it took them almost a year to get his body back to Georgia and the date on his marker is his actual burial date?
