Bio and Links
My name is Barbara, and I have been researching my family tree for about five years. My roots are primarily in Ontario (Chatham area), Kansas, and some parts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I live in Buffalo, New York, and am happy to fulfill photo requests in Forest Lawn Cemetery, or any other Buffalo area cemeteries. I am also more than willing to photograph old buildings or other sites in the area. I hope this good karma will somehow get my photo requests in Ontario and Kansas fulfilled! Happy searching!

William James Gee - Would you take out the photo of him and re-enter it as a person.

I truly agree with F.A.G. that photo of the person should be on top - the first of the photos. It order to do that you have to change the auto pop up from GRAVE to PERSON.

Thanks, Sweetie.

Arthur & Sylvia Varah
Barbara,
I have done some more investigating & found that Arthur Varah & Sylvia Morris were married in Walkerville, Ontario on October 28, 1896 & another daughter, Marjorie E. Varah was born to them on September 2, 1913.

Varah Photos
Barbara,
I got curious about the extra pictures I took and found some information you might be interested in through Ancestry.ca.
On the 1911 Ontario Census I found Alvin Varah's parents & 5 of his siblings.
Father - Arthur Varah - Born March 1875 in England
Mother - Sylvia Morris - Born April 1877 - Ontario
Sister - Gladis - Born August 1898 - Ontario
Brother - Harold - Born - March 1900 - Ontario
Brother - George - Born - Jan. 1904 - Ontario
Brother - Eugene - Born - July 1906 - Ontario
Brother - Frank - Born - June 1908 - Ontario
& Alvin was born in March 1902 in Ontario

I also found a birth & death records for a daughter, Sarah Evelyn Ellen Evanish Varah born to Arthur Varah & Sylvia Morris - Born Feb. 5, 1897 - Passed Away August 5, 1897
Hope this helps you out.

RE: Gees and Varahs
Barbara,
Glad I could help. Like I said Let me know when you add the the extra ones I found and I will upload the photos. I took them while I was there because this cemetery is kept locked all the time except Sundays from 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.
The church that this cemetery is part of was built by the Hiram Walker family of the whiskey fame and some of the movers & shakers of the late 19th & early 20th centuries are buried. I have lived within 5 miles of it for 67 of my 69 years and today was the first time I have been in it. I found it very interesting.
I almost forgot. I also found a marker for a Sylvia Morris (1887 - 1946) and it was next to Alvin Varah's marker and in front of the Varah Family Headstone.

More Grave Markers
Barbara,
I have some more markers for people you might be interested in. Margaret Irene Gee (1902 - 1993), Harold W. Varah (1900 - 1924) & a tall stone Varah - Finch with Sarah Elizabeth (Hill) 1910 - 1997 written under the Varah - Finch. All these markers are very close to the Gee's & Alvin Varah.
I took pictures of them just in case.

T. Cyril Gee
Barbara,
While taking photos of the Gee's at St. Mary's Anglican Church here in Windsor (the 2 William, Edna & Susan) I also came across a T. Cyrus Gee (1901 - 1976) very close to where Edna, Susan & one of the Williams are. I took a picture of it as well. I checked Find-A-Grave for any listing of him in Ontario but he isn't listed.
Being that he is buried so close to the others I am guessing he might be connected to you.
If so, put him on Find-A-Grave & I"ll upload that picture as well.

Yes, that's it, I recognize the stone. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS! This little lamb was killed in a kerosene fire. Her night shirt got caught and she went up in flames. My father's sister. Blessings
