|KET||RE: Charles Pennock|
Yes, Mr. Watrous had it right. The saw mill was the first around. Mr. Flowers wanted the town to be the county seat and did supply lumber (near the river...where the fish hatchery was later built). My ggrands built their house of the wood from that mill. I think Grandpa helped build the church from that lumber, too.
Jacob had quite a history. Too bad he died so young. I wondered about Wes but did not find much on him before.

Are you related to the Pennock/Flowers families? Charles and Lydia's memorials are already linked.
I am pretty distantly related and know there are lots more closer relatives to whom I would be glad to transfer management of the memorial.

|Eugene R. Walthall||The Jacob Flowers home|
My name is Gene Walthall.
I think we may have something in common with regard to the stone house in Bellevue, Colorado.
I have posted photos of an 1880 Belevue Colorado house on the findagrave sites for:
Daniel B. Walthall and his wife, Elizabeth.
Please take look and tell me if this is the house that Jacob Flowers built.
