 | RE: Craven & Jettie Harris According to the 1900 Census, Jettie had five children with her: Lester B. (daughter), born 1892; David S., born 1894; Eva, born 1895; James M. 1898; and William G., born 1899. In the 1910 Census she had three children with her: Bailey Lakey, age 16; Mark Lakey, age 14; and Eva Lakey, age 12. Looks like the person giving the ages to the census taker were confused about the information. By 1918 they were in Keifer, Creek County, Oklahoma and Craven Harris was a section foreman for the Frisco railroad when he filled out his WWI draft information. If you like me to keep digging, just let me know. I have one Lakey marriage listed in the groom index for Hughes County: L. R. Lakey to Beatrice M. Brewster on 28 Jan 1938. Three bride index marriages for Lakeys in Hughes County: Amy Lakey to Joe Huddleston in 1919; Vera Lakey to Walter Mills in 1923; and Reba Lakey to Kize Morse in 1930. If you would like me to do some more looking just let me know.
