Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a retired Radiological Engineer and a Electronics Technician Chief-ETC(SW)USN-RET. Past and present hobbies are Skydiving, Motorcycle riding - Veterans, Masonic and American Legion riders, Pistol-Rifle-Bow hunting, Genealogy, Photography and racing R/C model cars with my granddaughter.

Folks my photos are for anyone to use as long as it's not for profit. These are your family and friends. I'm just thankful that I can help but a credit would be nice. If you need the original image just contact me.

Speaking of photos I've seen some really poor ones. I don't follow their idea for a photo size as it's to small to look at, if you want to blow it up to see something. I use a Panasonic Lumix pocket "CAMERA". I crop and adjust them for brightness and contrast using Elements and my final size is approx. 1761x1000 at about 350kb file size. I carry a small brush and shovel an remove anything growing near it. If in doubt I go with an without flash an pick the best to start with. It's a one shot deal folks give them the best you can an be proud of it. Check out, Granny, #97607760.

Another thing I do at the grave site is record the GPS coordinates. I use a Garmin etrex 10. I use, boulter.com/gps/ to convert the numbers for F-A-G format. I put the Plot information and coordinates in the notes. Then the grave can be viewed from the satellites.

I also don't have a lot of memorials an that's because I'll give them away as fast as I can. I DO NOT believe in their relationship recommendation. If their your family, friends, neighbors or shipmates it's yours as long as you treat them respectfully and it's not my family. I'm surprised that there not handing out bronze, silver and gold headstones annually for the biggest (head)stone hunters.

Live long and prosper.

Talk at me later,
Bob C.

Emery headstone
thank you for the picture of her headstone - I didn't realize she was buried with her son. Noticed that he didn't have a memorial so I created one. Would you be so kind as to attach the photo to this one too? or i can do it for you if you'd rather.

Robert Emery - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=175497603

thanks again

RE: Holmes
Thank you so much. I don't know why my message was sent so many times. You would think I don't know how to use a computer. Thanks again.

Cannot see
Thank you for your efforts, but I cannot see Artie C (Jones) Holmes gravesite.

I have blown up the picture, but cannot see anything that indicates her gravesite or headstone/marker.

can you point me to something in the photo?

Gustavo Heras Vasquez
Dear Bob,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI Army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History and Roster of the 355th Infantry, Gustavo Heras Vasquez was also a member of this unit.

I'm not exactly sure where I'm headed with my project, but I would like to eventually publish something. When I do, would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Gustavo Heras Vasquez (Find A Grave Memorial# 123499362)?

Thank you, I appreciate your time.

Regards,

Bryan Anderson

Holy Hope
Thank you adding the fine photos and location information for Bishops Granjon and Green at Holy Hope. I appreciate seeing their grave markers. I am happy to see you have also claimed Msgr. Gerard, and hopefully his gravesite can be found as well. Thanks again, Chris.

RE: Missing headstones
Thanks Bob, I knew they were working on this! I am so happy! I will bring them what I have on the veterans with missing headstones, and get the other necessary paperwork so we can get them marked.
