Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a retired Radiological Engineer and a Electronics Technician Chief-ETC(SW)USN-RET. Past and present hobbies are Skydiving, Motorcycle riding - Veterans, Masonic and American Legion riders, Pistol-Rifle-Bow hunting, Genealogy, Photography and racing R/C model cars with my granddaughter.

Folks my photos are for anyone to use as long as it's not for profit. These are your family and friends. I'm just thankful that I can help but a credit would be nice. If you need the original image just contact me.

Speaking of photos I've seen some really poor ones. I don't follow their idea for a photo size as it's to small to look at, if you want to blow it up to see something. I use a Panasonic Lumix pocket "CAMERA". I crop and adjust them for brightness and contrast using Elements and my final size is approx. 1761x1000 at about 350kb file size. I carry a small brush and shovel an remove anything growing near it. If in doubt I go with an without flash an pick the best to start with. It's a one shot deal folks give them the best you can an be proud of it. Check out, Granny, #97607760.

Another thing I do at the grave site is record the GPS coordinates. I use a Garmin etrex 10. I use, boulter.com/gps/ to convert the numbers for F-A-G format. I put the Plot information and coordinates in the notes. Then the grave can be viewed from the satellites.

I also don't have a lot of memorials an that's because I'll give them away as fast as I can. I DO NOT believe in their relationship recommendation. If their your family, friends, neighbors or shipmates it's yours as long as you treat them respectfully and it's not my family. I'm surprised that there not handing out bronze, silver and gold headstones annually for the biggest (head)stone hunters.

Live long and prosper.

Talk at me later,
Bob C.

RE: Mildred
Bob, I have since located all her family data. She married my husbands uncle and if you would not mind I will be happy to assume care of any Bickford's / Sturgeon's you may have in Cemeteries in Coolidge or Florence, Az. I am the family genealogist.
Once again I thank you,
Billie

Mildred
Bob, thank you for the message about a Mildred Bickford. I have a Mildred Irene Graham who married into the Bickford's in the 40's. She married a Alfred Clinton Bickford. Was there a middle name of Irene? If so, it must be her, because so many Bickford's lived and died in the Coolidge & Florence, Az. area.
Respectfully, Billie Bickford

Thanks Bob for taking the pictures of the graves of these relatives. Until recently I was not aware that any of my great grandfather's siblings or their descendants had left Denmark and emigrated to America. Now I have found a number of them including Edgar. I am indebted to you for helping flesh out the documentation of these relations. Very much appreciated.

Best wishes,
Dale Bailey

RE: Jack T. Perkins
Hi Bob,
I called and the cheapest headstone they had is nearly $900.00. I found online a marker for $160.00. it is 6x18x3 inches. Nice looking flat. With name, dates, and a nice flower motif on the top edge. Anyway , I sent an email to evergreen asking what their setting charge is but haven't heard back from the yet. Do you know if anyone can come in and set a stone?
thabks

RE: Jack T. Perkins
Thanks Bob, I will give her a call.
We live in north central Arkansas about 80 miles north of Little Rock on Greers Ferry Lake, near the small town of Higden. We are about 15 off of HWY 65 that runs from Conway Ark to Missouri. We go to Branson and Springfield about once a year. I like the Bass Bro Shop.

Sorry, didn't scroll all the way down and did not see your note. Would I need to contact the cemetery about getting a headstone put there for him?
thank you!
