William T Gossage
As we discussed in ancestry messages, Robert Wilbur Gossage is not the son of William T and Helen E Blanton Gossage. (I noticed while following a hint that you have different people listed as Robert Wilbur's parents on your Ancestry tree) My Grandfather was John Franklin Gossage, son of William T Gossage, and I knew most of his siblings. The rest of my information came from my mother. Also, William T is not buried with Helen in Cleburne County, AL. He was buried in the Old Gossage cemetery in Manchester, TN The graves were moved from that cemetery, possibly when Lake Normandy was built, and we have been unable to find a definite location.
If you don't want to correct this information yourself let me know and I will send a request to you to transfer this grave to me.
thanks,
Dale Martin

Bob, is there any reason why you haven't added the info I sent you in an edit for Robert Gossage's bio? Are you receiving my edits? Thanks, Kaye

Bob, I sent you an edit with Nancy's obituary facts in it to be added to Nancy's Bio. Is there any reason, why you haven't done it? Thanks, Kaye

RE: Vaughns Grove cemetery
Bob,
I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. There are already photos of Gilbert & Evie Williams' stone on their memorials and a photo of the McNabbs as well. I do not manage either of those memorials. I'll be happy to help, but not sure what exactly you are needing from me.

RE: Nora Gossage Johnson
I linked Nora Gossage Johnson to her parents, and listed her name like I found on an online tree using Nora as a nickname.

I can also understand why you didn't find the memorial in your search because of the headstone using only the nickname. That happens alot of times.

Nora W. Johnson memorial
It was brought to my attention that you added a duplicate of Nora W. Johnson that I added 9 years ago. If you will delete it I will link any other family members that you have as long as they are not duplicates of any other members and are listed in a cemetery.

If you keep on doing what your doing, using other members memorials and listed them in no cemetery your going to make members mad, just saying.

Hopefully your new and not doing this on purpose.

Thanks,
Bama

William & Helen Gossage
Normally I do not link to Burial Unknown's because there may be another memorial that has the correct burial location that pre-dates your memorial. I'm not real busy right now so I searched findagrave database for you. There does not seem to be a duplicate memorial for William, so I am linking him BUT please change the burial location to match his wife's because I believe he is buried beside her in an unmarked (as yet) grave. The marker on his wife's grave is new and most likely the creator of that marker did not know her husband was in the same plot. Being she died in 1922 and him in 1895 it's more likely both their markers were destroyed when the cemetery was renovated or just lost to time. Only Helen's was replaced or documented. I say this because I have a copy of the cemetery surveys that were taken in 2002 & updated in 2006 and neither of their graves are in either survey. So Helen's marker was placed after 2006. William's marker maybe there but just not recorded, until now. Ask for a Grave Photo and see. I will do a little research and see if i can find out any more about them. I will add Addie, France & Nancy's names to John & Jesse's memorials so at least their sister's will be listed.

Thats' me being nice, now I need to scold you, sorry.

Findagrave was created to document CEMETERY MARKERS or KNOWN unmarked burial locations. Please do not create any more Burial Unknowns. Currently you have 31. I know there are hundreds of thousands of them already created by other contributor and Findagrave is deleteing them as quickly as they can. So it is likely all your unknowns will be removed shortly anyway. Findagrave does not notify contributors of inpending removal, they just remove them. So be diligent and find those 31 burial locations before you lose your memorials.

That's all. Have a great day.
