This journey all started out with my husband not knowing his family, so I took it upon myself to find out a little more information. The little more has turned into a whole lot! But, I am loving it and enjoy learning about the people and times of long ago. If I have made a memorial for one of your family members, I will be more than happy to transfer the memorial to you... just put in a request.
My family are Hays/Hayes, Williams, Clicks, Boyds, Branhams just to name a few.

I love the Preston Cemetery, but I live so far away, I only get down there about every three or four years.
I have a lot of my Fraley family buried there.

FYI -
Some of the Kentucky cemeteries are posted as Lesley and some are Leslie. I started quite a few of these Lesley-Leslie cemeteries on FindAGrave so I can make corrections to the description (including how to find the cemetery) but not to the name itself. Too bad FindAGrave doesn't allow other contributors to contact the person who started the cemetery with more information i.e., directions. Oh, anyone can send FindAGrave an email to info@FindAGrave.com giving them additional names for a cemetery. Thanks for the Leslie corrections. I was able to make changes to the Crit Leslie Cemetery "home page" since I was the one who started this cemetery on Find A Grave and I entered it the way it was named in the Lesley-Leslie book. It is difficult to know how to search for an existing cemetery in Kentucky and difficult to know how enter a cemetery on Find A Grave in Kentucky since there are so many little family cemeteries there (883 cemeteries in Pike County at this time on Find A Grave). I decided to enter by the last name first (in Kentucky) so someone searching for a Leslie/Lesley cemetery could search that way also and hopefully find a list of Lesley or Leslie family cemetery. I was in Pike County, Ky. for a Lesley-Leslie Family Reunion in 2009 and went to quite a few family cemeteries there. I live in Oregon and took my paternal great aunt on the trip too as she is a Lesley and my grandmother's youngest sister. It was an interesting trip. I looked on the internet a couple of years ago and found something about there were an estimated 1100 cemeteries in Pike County (as I remember). Thanks for any help that you can give me:)
