RE: Rummer Cemetery-Dryden NY
I'm a fool, just put the name connection together. LOL

The name I used to list the cemetery is what was on file at Cortland Historical society as it is listed just inside the county line and was originally read in 1940's. Both Norwood stones were noted then also.

Is a great cemetery. Do you have family there?

Have an interesting question for you. When my aunt, Mary Dexter, was doing a cemetery project for the Cortland County Historical Society in the late 1970's, she found a sandstone grave marker for B. Norwood. It is no longer there, just a marble marker that matches his wife. The stone was carved by one of 3 carvers she has followed through CNY. She has named him "Eclectic man" for his unique style. We were there about 2 weeks ago to see if I missed it in the fall when I took the photos I uploaded.

Who is doing the stone cleaning? I am familiar with several of the companies in the local area.

If you click on the "map" tab, that will show you exactly where it is located.
