RE: Photo of D. N. McIver

I am sorry-I meant to say, How is it pronounced? McEEEver or McIIIver? I know that there are McIvers of both races in Sanford and that one is pronounced one way, and one, the other.

I'll be glad to look for Big Daniel and Mary if you can give me more information. There are a lot of them in Buffalo.

Do you know Gordy Reese in Sanford? She is a McIver and we go to church together. Her mom was Virginia but I am not sure who her dad was-she grew up here.

Did you see that I posted his wife's also? Figured I might as well since she was right beside him.

You are welcome!

RE: Thank You
Next time I get up there I will photograph all the stones individually. The day i was there I was on a different mission and just snapped a few shots.

RE: Thank You
You're Welcome,
I'm the superintendent of Hope cemetery in Kutztown, Pa. Ten years ago Hope acquired a cemetery management program which included a public website. I developed that public website which is available to the public free of charge; with the preservation of history in mind, I put a photo of every tombstone, & deceased, plus their obituary that I could find and posted it on our website, which is kept up to date. I than continued with St. John's UCC, Kutztown, Fairview, Maxatawny Twp. and Lyons, Pa. this is now all part of an overall program that can be accessed at If you go there you can search the list for those cemeteries and down load what you wish. You can also go directly to Hope at

RE: photo s of tomestones
Dear Alma,

I have sent an e-mail to you directly. Please look for it, just in case it's in your spam/junk e-mail folder. I think we can work on this and get you a bunch of information/pictures/etc.

RE: photo s of tomestones
Dear alma reece,

Oddest thing, I never got an e-mail that you had sent/left me a message. I actually spotted it while checking another message sent to me.

Yes, there are quite a few Leiby's located at Dunkels cemetery, all of which are family/realtion, but unfortunately, I have management of but one of them. Thankfully, a good degree of the others are maintained by a fellow family member.

As for the Leiby's you mentioned in your message, I can not place them. If you would kindly do so, I'd greatly appreciate if you could e-mail me directly so we can discuss and work out the details. I'm always up to know/learn of new relatives, living or deceased!

My e-mail is on my member page.

RE: Photo Request
I forgot to tell you I live in Ozark, AL which is about 20 miles north of Dothan, 75 miles south of Montgomery. I was born and raised in NJ.

RE: Photo Request
No apology required. I have put on some photos a long time ago for some of the Leiby's when I visited NJ and PA. The only way I am connected at all to Jacob and Helena might be through Daniel and Susanna Leiby. My relationship to Leiby's is through marriage to Susanna Lichty. She was my 2nd great grand aunt, married to Daniel, a grandson of Frederich and Susanna Jurgon/Jerian. Have a good evening.

RE: Photo Request
Hi, I do not have any pictures of Jacob and Helena Miller. Where did you get the idea that I had any pictures of them? I would be interested to know. I am related to some of the Leiby's but don't know about Helena. I don't have them on my family tree maker. You can request on Find A Grave for tombstone photos if you'd like them but I'm sorry I can't help you with that as I live in Alabama.
