As a descendant of Benjamin Lafayette Stacy and his father Simon Stacy and mother Matilda Kelly Stacy, of Wright County, MO, I am interested in their history. I was not able to know my family in Missouri very well, having been raised in California. Benjamin's son Floyd Stacy is my father, he lived for many years here in California, and died here in 1969. |
I am married to Frank F. Worthington, descendant of Richard Downing of Lexington, KY, and Lt. Gov. William Jackson Worthington of Greenup Co., KY.

He's not mine either. But I still wish I could have helped. :-)

Hi Barbara! I really don't know what happened to his wife and child. I can't find where she re-married, but it doesn't show every marriage either. I'm sorry I couldn't be more informative.

Barbara I transfered his page to you. I am a very distant kin thru my mother's dad

Thank you for the article on Clarence.I have added the article to his memorial. Would you like to maintain his memorial? I am not related to him and would be happy to send it your way.

It is always an honor to be able to pass on a memorial I created to the loving care of their family.
The only grandparent I ever knew was my mom's mother, but like you I didn't get to spend much time around her because we lived in Oklahoma and she lived in California.

Is Alexander James Ray a direct ancestor of yours? is this the grave of Alexander james Ray, born in North Carolina (my records show 1793) and deceased 1857 in tenn. If he is the same, can you tell me whether or not he married twice and how many children he fathered? I am finding conflicting info on Ancestry.com public member trees and would like to have more to go on. If this is the right person, please get a message to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or on ancestry.com judyarends58. thanks so much (love finding our forebears, don't you?)
|Brenda Ashford||Iva R. Rider|
I have very little information about Iva R. Hunt, so I was very excited to get your message. Iva was my daughter-in-law's great great grandmother. The only photos I have are the ones posted on Iva's memorial page and her husband Evan Rider's memorial page. Those photos originally came from Iva's daughter Mildred Juanita Rider and her granddaughter Helen Laverne McKinney. The lady who has the photos is Sue Waters, my daughter-in-law's mother and the daughter of Helen Laverne McKinney. She has inherited quite a few photos that don't have names on them, so I have no clue whether any of them are of the Rider/Hunt family. Sorry I can't be of more help. Please feel free to share the posted photos with anyone interested in them.
I am very interested in information about John Henry Hunt and Sarah Ellen Smith if you can provide that for me. Thanks so much, Brenda

I have been to Steele Cemetery, but I have posted the 3 Stacy memorials according to the transcription that is on the Wright County Genweb page. It is very complete and reliable. I am at my limit of photo requests right now. Will you please submit a request for them? Maybe a volunteer will do it. Let me know if you would like transfers since you are a close relative.
