Bio and Links
Bio Photo I believe in sharing information on our ancestors with others and when I am able to add accurate information to this site, I am happy to do so.
It gives me great satisfaction to help others
find the graves of their relatives and friends and I often walk local and nearby state cemeteries, to search and document.

My ancestors are mostly from Rhode Island...Austrian/Polish and French Canadian.
My Husbands family are also French Canadian with some Irish/Scottish, with roots in the Manchester, Maine and NH area.
I do believe we need to be respectful to the living regarding what we place on Find A Grave, so I am careful about putting info up of living relatives from Obituaries, especially residential info.
I do use Obits as a reference, which is very helpful for unreadable gravestones and relationship clarification. However Obits are a reflection of the authors whims and memory and can often be wrong. I do not link based on this source alone. Please Do Not post Obits as Photos, send them to me and I will post most of the info with reference to the newspaper.
Often; a name on a stone with no Death date can mean the person is buried elsewhere or hasn't died yet.
I Keep in mind that Census Records and Family Search are good reference guides, they should not be a sole source of input for FAG.
Help me make these records as accurate as possible with the utmost respect.
Better to Omit, than to be wrong.

DO NOT COPY MY PHOTO'S PLEASE, without asking for permission first.

Thank You

Thanks Elaine. I have sent a photo request, and asked if they would please look around to see if these others are buried near him. Thanks so much for your suggestion!

Patrick Fay
Thank you so much for the transfer! My apologies for not answering sooner. I truly appreciate your time and energy! Per family info, there are 3 more Fay's buried there, but I can't find them. It's possible their buried in the same plot as Patrick.

Do I just create a memorial page for them on Find A Grave, where it says add a name to this cemetery?

Thanks again Elaine!

RE: Reuben/Alven Tobey
Ok here's what I've found out. According to my 2nd cousin Sandra Ball (that I defer all Tobey questions/problems to)..on her has Zimri and Nancy Tobey having twins Ruben and Alvin (guess the stone carver spelled it Alven) who are buried in Old Falmouth Graveyard. The article that you put on Alven's memorial page is the same one where I got the gravestone information for Alven and Ruben from....not sure which is a cenotaph. It's fine to have it also on Ruben's memorial page....let's everyone Tobey-related know where that information was originally gotten from.

I guess one of my questions is...why does it say the boys are the sons of Zimri and Anna..and the transcription states the same thing?? I know on Zimri's memorial page it makes mention of originally it stated he married Hannah/Anna but it is actually Nancy Wing. Did she sometimes use her middle name...was it Anna??

Also I'm not sure how to reference the other memorial page...I can just put the memorial page #...but know there is a way to do it so just the name highlights and you press on that to get the other memorial page....make sense???

And I don't have your e-mail to contact you direct.

Thanks for your time with all this,

Reuben/Alven Tobey
I received your edits for them on memorial pages that I created from information that they were in Falmouth Old Burying attempting to find their parents I find a gravestone photos for them that you were partially responsible for (thank you) in Oak Grove Cemetery. Have I gotten erroneous information and they are not in Falmouth Old Burying Ground...or is this a cenotaph???

Thanks for clearing up this confusion,
