|Jennifer||Thomas Smitherman-Lawrence Cemetery?|
For Thomas Smitherman 1788-1872, you have him listed in Lawrence Cemetery. He appears to be the only one. Is he buried on private property? Do you know if his grave is marked? I'm assuming there's no photo? I will be in town soon and can try to get a photo, if possible, assuming there's anything to take a photo of. Thanks!

|Peggy Whitcomb||Thank you!|
Thank you for posting the pictures of Benjamin Narramore and Clinton Corley's grave stones.
Are you an relation to the Narramore's or Corley's? As I have completed family research I noticed that the Smitherman's married into the Narramore family at least.
My Grandmother's name is Margaret Haran McMullan. She was born in Birmingham but grew up in Centreville, Al. Her mother was Georgia Narramore Haran. Georgia's folks were Benjamin Narramore and Rebecca Corley Narramore.
I was so happy to meet a local Bibb County man who helped me with some records but I have never met any of my Grandmother's relative from Alabama. I have many pictures that she left me when she passed away of her Alabama relatives and would like to share them or at least find out who some of the folks are in the unmarked photos.
I am also trying to locate a picture of my great-grandmother's grave. Georgia Narramore Haran. It is a mystery to me.
I am not sure if you are interested or related in some way. I have traced the Corley line back to an American Revolution Patriot. My daughter is joining the DAR under his name. I joined under a Patriot on my Mom's paternal side. I joined because my Grandmother always wanted to but could not prove the lineage. I would sure love to prove a Narramore link to the Revolution.
I apologize for babbling on and I thank you for the photos.
My home email is firstname.lastname@example.org.

I did this some time ago (2007)so I really remember nothing. I did find this note in my files:
Buried Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Bibb County, AlabamaFarmer
I no longer have a link or any further info.

|Jennifer||Dan and Maude Maddox|
Hi Margie! Thanks for pointing out that I had Dan and Maude listed under the wrong Pleasant Grove Cemetery. I've been to their graves, but as I don't live in AL I'm not terribly familiar with the roads and when I saw Chilton Co I just assumed it was the one. I've corrected it now. Thanks!
