|J Dillard||Margaret Wilson McDowell Cowan|
I have a fairly comprehensive family history on the Cowan Family but have been unable to go beyond William McDowell. Recently got the history of his wife Mary Margaret Campbell. I am very curious as to where Margaret's middle name of Wilson came from. I have all their children and their families but haven't been able to link them all on findagrave because I am not the one who submitted all fo them. I am the one who took all these photos of their graves. If you have questions please email me at email@example.com. John Woods Cowan and Margaret Wilson McDowell are my gggrandparents. I am descended from their son Robert Jackson Cowan and his wife Malissia Lee Trousdale. They are buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bell County.

I think I found memorials already created for John (73935255?) and Sarah (13035159?) -- do you want to click on the edit tabs of those memorials and request they be linked to father 11363193 and mother 50764565 or should I?

This is terrific information but I will need the verifiable source detail as well as the memorial numbers for family links. Thanks so much.

Welcome to findagrave and thank you for the additional information! Do you know whether any of those children are already listed on findagrave? (It's easiest to have children be listed on parents' findagrave pages if the memorials are linked together through using the edit tab on the childrens' findagrave memorial pages and suggesting a correction and requesting that the children be linked to their parents via the parents' findagrave memorial numbers.) Let me know if you locate any of the children already listed on findagrave and we can start by working on it that way.
