Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have made mistakes but not on purpose! You can use my pictures, it is to honor the lives of those once lived. I respect the dead and they deserve to have their information correct. I always search before making a memorial but there have been several times they don't show up, then they do. Unknown burials a lot of times do not show up on regular searches.

I don't mind transferring any relative or friend as long as they are not in my tree.

FaGers like Graves, Nolagirl, Joseph Mann, Barbara Munson, Ancestors, I have the up-most respect for their work. Their work is such a blessing to me; I just want to bless others AS THEIR work helps me find so many of my ancestors.

I appreciate this site and the work FaGers do. Thanks to each one of you and may God Bless us all, especially those of us that care enough to do it right.

Sorry took so long to get back. Kids are running me around the state having a good time....That's what they are telling me anyway.....

Did you see, at the bottom of the obit I made note that father's name in obit is wrong? They apparently picked up the brother's name rather than using the father's name. The links are absolutely correct. There is plenty of documentation to put this family together.

RE: Your Picture
Judy,

Thank you. Unfortunately the camera broke after that shot and is unrepairable. Happens every time, I just can't figure out why that happens. ;_)

Judy, thank you for posting the newspaper article. This is my grandfather. That is my father in the photo I posted as a toddler with him - Sam

RE: Hope
Judy,

I hadn't noticed it was gone, but I am not too surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if it was not taken down by Find A Grave because of its tone. Also, reading the responses was quite alienating for the cemetery.

If prospective clients were to see or hear about it, I suspect they would find another location, costing Hope business.

Finally its possible that the message was not reviewed before it was released, and management may have taken it down.

Who knows, but damage has been done.

The profile is completely missing now. Says it was removed. No clue if the removal was voluntary or removed by an admin.

RE: Thank You
Judy,

Thank you for the comments. I am always up for a good hug. Of course I am incredibly handsome and the salt of the earth.

As for Hope (and conversely St. John), I had the misfortune of visiting their cemetery last year, and meet the most vile people. They were nasty to me and I was not there to take photos. They have no signs against visitors or photographs.

Today if you were to want to visit a family member's grave, they require proof of relationship and/or ownership of the grave site.

Their threats are meaningless and would never be accepted in a court. They are just blowing smoke. I really do not understand their attitude but I wouldn't worry about it. I certainly would be very stubborn and not take down any photos given their attitude. I wonder if anybody in authority reviewed that email.

Even Catholic cemeteries in the area are reluctant to give out grave locations, but they are not going to stop visitors.

RE: DiPuma
Thanks for your help getting this group of Italians straightened out. I usually do my auto corrections in the evening, but rest assured, I'll get it done today. Oh, and Mary's sister Mrs. Rosalie Cauley is buried at Resthaven memorial gardens, I think, if you want to link her mom....

Cypress Grove and Greenwood cemeteries are both referred to as Firemen's cemetery - so you have the right one.

Thank you for adding the information to the memorial

Take care

Judy,

I made the additions as you requested. Unfortunately I did not have the photos in my recycle bin, as I had deleted them in July, 2014. If the pictures do not meet you satisfaction let me know and I will retake the photos.
