My interest in genealogy started in 8th grade with a genealogy assignment, lucky for me I had a grandmother who was also interested in genealogy but in 1968 no computers made it difficult. I did receive some wonderful information from grandma and many years later with the computer world I went wild making it back into the 400's. I was able to print out add pictures to show my grandma at her 100th birthday party....the chart was 30 feet long and 15 feet high.... she loved it. Shortly there after I had a mother board die and along with it my work it was not backed up separately...I started again and love finding out great grandpa had 5 wives, great great grandma and grandpa met on the ship from Germany and married shortly after landing at Ellis Island. My Native American side I have been able to make it to the 1500's, lucky I have some outstanding family members....

RE: Loretta Herd
Robin, I'm so sorry to hear about Loretta. I remember her well, having worked with her for years when she worked at the Delta cemetery. Give her my best and tell her she's in my prayers.

RE: Souvina Sisson
I do indeed know your Aunt Loretta. Actually, she and I held different positions with the City. I kept the records at City Hall and coordinated between the families and mortuaries and Loretta and her crew at the cemetery in scheduling burial services. She and I worked closely together for several years. I remember her fondly!
