Reminder for George Mulholland
Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.

Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273

This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.

Thank you for helping me to help you.

Info for George Mulholland
Hi! Can you please call or e-mail the cemetery and ask for the Section, Lot, and Grave numbers and then add this information to the online record? This helps the photo volunteers to find the grave marker.

Elmwood is a huge cemetery and this information is needed in order to fulfill your request. I have located more than 50 graves at Elmwood for Find A Grave, but I cannot find a grave for you without the burial plot information.

Thank you! Ace

Cindy Taylor-Matuse
Hi, Mary Lou! I don't have a lot of info on the Short family as of yet, but Jeff Russell has helped me a good bit. And Joe Steffey has helped with some distant Pearman relatives.

My gg grandmother, Lillie Pearman Taylor, was an aunt to Mrs. Bennett. I only visited with her a few times, but I know one of the visits was during the holidays, and I remember meeting one of the boys, but I was a teenager back then, and have no idea which one. Her and husband raised Charley and Helen Douglas' daughter, with Helen being her sister, and died shortly after giving birth. Charley was like a Grandpa to me, and I still miss him a lot.

With both my grandparents being from that area, and their families being early settlers, I believe I was related to at least 80% of the families in that area in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Since you looked at my virtual cemeteries, you can see many of them. With that being said, I'm sure we are related through many different branches.

I'm glad you stopped by, and it was nice to meet you.
