|– I have 6 generations in St Henry’s Cemetery Chicago. I am quite intimate with this cemetery containing many of the founding families of Rogers Park and West Ridge and Lake View neighborhoods before they were annexed into Chicago. I have over 200 photos and I am always looking to help anyone with requests. I am very familiar with many of the surnames located within and would always love to learn more. |
- I live only a mile from All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines and Ridgewood Memorial Cemetery in Des Plaines. If you seek any photos from Ridgewood Memorial you need to call their office. I have only a few from St Joseph’s in Wilmette, Il., but I can try to fulfill requests. Many of these older monuments and headstones are washed out from age.
I find that the time people take to correctly list family members within a memorial, the most helpful for researchers. Following the recommendations offered by Find-a-Grave to try to correct information instead of duplicating it is vital to better records for the future.

Thank you Amy for picking up my message on Maria/Marie and Joseph Faber who are both supposed to be buried there.
I hope you can find them!!!

Thank you so much for adding his headstone photo. I think I put enough information up there for people to figure out he changed his name.

I just added a memorial for Elmer. I meant to last week but forgot. I'm curious now about this Wiltgen monument you referred to.My mom is a Wiltgen and that is a name I'm really interested in.Elmer's mom is with her husband Frank Leider so I'm curios as to what Wiltgens are buried nearby then.I'm don't recall at the moment whom else if any Wiltgen's are buried there. Any photo's you can add greatly appreciated. Maybe if there are any Wiltgen's you recall you might add a memorial if there not there already.

I added more info on Trevor Vincent "Thomas" Love's memorial, including his death record and obituary. I also have his son's birth certificate - where it shows his name as Trevor Vincent Love. His son is dead so I put his son's death date down too. I know Trevor's death record is under Thomas but his real birth name is Trevor. As a professional genealogist, you are supposed to put the birth name down and whatever name they change it to (he did not do a legal name change), you put that name in the nickname field.
I did submit a new photo request. I do not know if you got it or not.
This is Trevor "Thomas" Vincent Love's memorial link:
Or if you prefer to just know the memorial number it is: 162365411
You will see that I have made it really clear for people to understand this. This family belongs to my cousin, who asked me to do her family research for her.

Thank you for the headstone photos you took. I really appreciate your time and effort. If is a HUGE blessing.
Trevor is his birth name and is used on most his legal documents. However, he did not use the name Trevor - he went by Thomas.
Here is the link to his memorial.
Thank you again,

I got that information off of FamilySearch.org website. If you can look into this for me that would be great.
|LBS||Edna Snell Photo Request in Ridgewood|
Hi Amy, I read your Bio after I made the request for Edna Snell's gravemarker (noticing you had claimed other requests). I will call the cemetery office in the next couple of days. I have her memorial program and photo I would like to post once I have a scan, so I am sure she is interred there. Loretta
