Second generation Swedish-American from northern Wisconsin. Doing research on branches of those ancestors who emigrated to the U.S. and in Sweden and Norway and now learning about Irish relatives. Willing to help with taking pictures at cemeteries. Read Swedish and am happy to provide help translating passages from old documents. Do international development work and am sometimes away from email for a few weeks so be patient with my replies.|

Bud survived war and died Oct 10 2013.
In his final year,Bud often spoke of re-uniting with Matt, Alex and another Marine Aviator,Joe Palko, KIA 1942.

You're welcome! I have no family relationship with the Olsons, I'm not certain why I added them - I use different schemes. For instance, a couple of years ago I added memorials for everyone in Lakewood who died in 1940. When I add a memorial, I try to add another person (whether related or not) with the same surname. It gains momentum!

I checked for him on the 1930 census and see that he is living with the Buford Thompson family as a father-in-law. I also checked the 1900 census for Lois Estella and she is living with James' parents; I wonder if his wife passed away. I will try to get in contact with one of Lois' granddaughters. My brother just bought her house and she is hard to get in contact with. With Thanksgiving this week, please be patient.
