I became interested in my own genealogy while researching my husband's ancestors, and most of my research continues to be for our families. If anyone has additional information to share, I welcome it. And if you are related to anyone whose memorial I manage, I will certainly consider transferring to you. I thank everyone who has assisted me with my requests for information or transfers.|

Yes, all of the information came from the death certificate. As in a lot of death certificates, the most trusted piece of information is normally the date of death. All other data (state of birth, age, etc.) is sometimes wrong. However, everything is still of some value.

My wife and I agree with you about the photo added to the memorial. In photographing head stones, we find many stones are running out of time to be photographed. Many stones are unreadable.
It is encouraging to receive a message of thanks
Some people think we are crazy, but we enjoy it. If we ever go back to Butler Cty. area, it will be spring or fall. Les
Thank-you so much for the additional information on Belva's biological parents. Can I ask you to do me a favor in regards to the information that you have sent ? You mentioned "incorporating" the information onto/into her bio.I don't have a clue as to how to make it so that someone can click on her Mothers memorial # & go straight to her memorial .If I transferred Belva to you could you do whatever it takes to add the additional info & then transfer her back to me,please ?
Thanx's for all your help,
~ Beth ~

I would like to manage Helmer's Memorial (# 149622376)if your sure you don't mind. Do you live near where they are buried? I wouldn't mind a photo if you do. If not I will be visiting my mother and possibly my cousin in a few weeks and possibly may be able to get one on my way back home. If I can find anything on Mamie I will get back to you. Probably won't be until Sept. though.
Again thanks for the info.

Hi Rosie, I went to the Almira cemetery to find the Mosiers headstone, but I couldn't find either one. So sorry. Cheryl

Hi Rosie! You've been no bother! lol I work nights and sleep days and hadn't been able to answer you. Yes, I also see the one was started for Beaman with just 6 entries, now. The cemetery is closer to Beaman for sure. So I don't know which one is right? But the Smithton one has so many. When I made that memorial, I didn't know about the Beaman one. Not sure what to do about that, and I am not able to merge memorials.

Hi, Josef is buried next to Anna, I added it as a comment to photo. But I didn't see Anna's memorial at St. Adalbert to add a photo to it. Once you create it, do a request again and I'll add the photo. Thanks.

Sorry there is no gravestone photo for this memorial. Since I am not related in any way to this person, I have transferred the memorial to you. You, no doubt, can add further information making the memorial more complete. I simply added the information passed on to me after I had taken it upon myself to photograph the gravestones that are readable in this cemetery located a few miles from my home. I feel that anyone buried here, whether or not they have a gravestone erected here, deserves to be remembered and a memorial placed for other researchers who may be looking for that person. Glad I could be of assistance to you. Happy researching!

My best guess is that whoever wrote the article was not a family member. Possibly the lady that gathered up the news around Gilliam for the Slater paper wrote it and she did not know the family. After all, Walter had been dead for 19 years and Sarah had moved to K.C. Perhaps we are lucky that there was as much as there was. If I find anything else, I will let you know.
