A 3rd generation American of Irish ancestry and resident of Amelia Island Florida.
My family came to America in 1866 on the Ship Orient through Castle Garden NYC. We are Irish descendants of Philip and Bridget McCardle/McArdle from County Louth and now known as the McCarroll's as of 1915.
I can help others in the area identify headstones at Bosque Bello or Saint Peters Cemetery or other cemeteries in and around NE Florida.
Let me know where you need assistance. ------------------------------------ | |

 | RE: Theresa Parks Welch From One Celt to another...I'm glad if the bio field was helpful for you.
I agree on the other connections.
It's probably understandable that they don't let us connect by linkage to all possible relatives (since technically this isn't a 'genealogy site') but it would be nice to be able to at least to do it for GP's.
But unless/until that happens, the bio field is where it goes...esp if I find out the other fam. names but don't know where they're buried (w/ or w/o dates) so no pgs. of their own.
What I REALLY wish is that there was a field for Step-Parents (labeled as such) & "other married names" for women esp. when they were widowed (as opposed to divorced) from the previous marriages & got re-married b/c I think a lot of ppl don't find some of their relatives b/c they don't know to search for fam. on the search pg using the other name(s) b/c they didn't know a distant relative got re-married "back in the day" & actually died w/ a different last name (which happens a lot if no offspring came from the last marr). | | | Len H
 | RE: McCarroll Your very welcome Rick. I also have family members buried at St. Josephs cemetery. I really liked the flag at Ryans gravesite. 'GO IRISH'Added by Len H on Apr 15, 2013 3:33 PM | | | Ann Barrett

 | RE: Longstreth Glad to do it! Shirley Longstreth did not appear to have a headstone so I did the best I could with that. I have a few additional photos, let me know if you would like me to e-mail them to you. | | | SundancerKat
