I am retired. Been interested in genealogy since late 1950's. Follow members of my families where ever they go. Expand database by including any person in Bedford Co., PA, and surrounding counties if their family has ever married into one of my family lines. I don't do original research, mostly obits and internet searches. | |

 | RE: Yellow Creek cemeteries? THE STEELE CEMETERY IS A SEPERATE CEMETERY. THE ST. PAUL'S CEMETERY WAS ALSO KNOWN AS THE YELLOW CREEK REFORMED CEM. I THINK THAT IT WAS CALLED THE YELLOW CREEK REFORMED CEM. THEN WHEN THE ADJACTED CHURCH WENT FROM REFORMED TO UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, THEN IT BECAME THE ST. PAUL'S UCC CEM. SINCE THAT THE CHURCH HAS BECOME INDEPENDANT, THUS ST. PAUL'S CHURCH OF YELLOW CREEK CEM. WHEN i STRAIGHTENED OUT THE 2 SEPERATE CEM. AND PUT THE PEOPLE BURIED IN THE STEELE CEM, I ALSO STRAIGHTENED OUT THE ONE AT OUR CHURCH, WHICH NOW GOES BY ST. PAUL'S CHURCH OF YELLOW CREEK CEM. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.

 | Daniel Berkstresser Sorry I can't change his place of Birth as I have now citied my source. As I checked my source I find that my source disagrees with the book you used as a source. My source is his great granddaughter Ada Friedly who lived in Versailles. | | | Bonnie Morris Conrad
 | Berkstresser Thanks Duke I will post with your source. | | | Bonnie Morris Conrad
 | Berkstresser Hi Duke, I'm a little confused about your note on #86553133 which isn't one of my posts. But I think this may be another case for citing sources which is my new mission. Lot's of genealogists are asking posters to add info, change info, without any sources or documentation and the waters are getting muddier by the minute. I would be glad to help any way I can so could you tell me again what you need me to do? Thanks for your volunteer work to make Find A Grave better. | | | Harriet (Nave) Clapper
 | RE: Location of Centerville Duke, Centerville is located along Route 220 going south from Bedford. It is about half way between Bedford and Cumberland, Md. At one time it was a very busy town but it still remains fairly large as far as small towns go. About 50 years ago when the state built the new route 220 they bypassed Centerville, but it is still along 220. | | | Amanda Smith

 | RE: Clarence Medford WISEMAN Hi Duke,
You were asking me if the Clarence Wiseman's memorial that I posted was married to Kathryn Anciaux. I do not know. He is laid to rest with Cecelia Wiseman who I assuming is his wife. I have posted his grave marker photo for you.
