I am retired. Been interested in genealogy since late 1950's. Follow members of my families where ever they go. Expand database by including any person in Bedford Co., PA, and surrounding counties if their family has ever married into one of my family lines. I don't do original research, mostly obits and internet searches.|

Thanks for the information on Otto. I moved him over to the Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg. Much appreciated!

Hi Duke, sorry, but I don't have any infomation of McCall's north of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Just to pre-Revolutionary War.

Hi-thanks for doing that, if he notifies me, I'll be glad to either delete mine or transfer it. I am related to Russell Black, only very remotely, thru the Carper's. Thanks, irma

Hi-Your suggestion is that my entry for Russell Black is a duplicate-here's your suggestion-
Memorials 73501798, created Jul2011, and 77489580, created Oct2011, are duplicates. The one created in Oct2011 has more data.
The fact is, since my entry was added first, it is the other person who has the duplicate. They should have contacted me to ask me to transfer my entry to them, which I would have been glad to do. They are in the wrong, even tho they have more information. They have not followed the rules for this website.
My entry stays, until they contact me. Looks like when the weather gets a little better, you need to get out into your local cem and do some transcribing! irma

Hi Duke, getting ready to go out of town for a few days, will respond to your question about McCall's when we return in mid-week. My wife is the McCall.

Hello I fixed it. Thank you for making the mistake of mine that I can fix it. Sorry it happens sometimes. Again thank you for letting me know. Have a wonderful day.
|Rick Kuhns||RE: Violet KUHNS, Memorial 85814466|
I have no idea about any of the Kuhns's buried in Donegal. I was just visiting the area as I used to live there as a kid, went to the C&MA church right in front of the graveyard, and decided to take pics when I saw so many Kuhns's in the graveyard, just in case I turned out to be related (no hits so far though I suspect there is a connection way back).

My Hamilton side goes back to Saxton. That would be James Hamilton b. 1796 in Scotland and d. 1860 in Saxton. His wife was Margaret Foster, also from Scotland b. 1795 and d. 1870 in Philly. I'm guessing they had a relative in Philly with whom she went to stay with after James passed. Anyway, I have my link up to me and it goes through Abraham Hamilton who lived in Smithfield with his wife Mazie Edwards, who is my gr. grandma. She later married a Heaton and was thus Grandma Heaton to all.
Let me know what info you need, I have most of it on Ancestry.com.

I'm sorry I cannot assist you more as I snapped this stone while photographing my many ancestors at Bowman's. There are Hamilton's and Kyler's at Bowman's Chapel Cemetery, but did not see the names you mentioned. I did photograph the entire cemetery while there in April 2013.
