I have been doing Genealogy Research for my family for over 20 years. I love going to the Cemeteries and taking pictures of old headstones and learning more about my family history.|

Thank you so much for the photos of Francis Marion & Nancy J. Stepp. That was very kind and thoughtful of you.

Well...this is amazing. This gentleman is not listed in the Highland cemetery records in Durant, but nevertheless, I found him buried there. I have corrected his biography and posted grave photos for him and his wife. Glad we were able to resolve this. Thanks for your patience.

Highland Cemetery is the primary cemetery in Durant. It is located within the city limits of Durant, relatively close to town, and it contains somewhere around 16,000 graves. That is where Leila Doris Walker is buried. It will be very easy for me to locate her grave when I go there next, probably in the next week or so. However, W.C. Walker is simply NOT listed in the cemetery records. It will be a major fluke if I find his grave in the cemetery if he is not recorded in the records, but I intend to see if I can find him. There is one other cemetery in Durant, the Pioneer Cemetery, but it is very old and he is not in those records either. I'll take photos of any gravestones I find and post the photos on the memorials. Give me a week or so. It's a 100-plus mile trek and I've got a lot on my plate in the next few days.
You asked me if I had tried finding W.C. Walker's wife. You didn't see her linked to him???

Do you have any idea where he is buried? He is not buried in Highland Cemetery in Durant.
You're very welcome, Greg!
