Hi Everyone...
When I was doing research for my family genealogy/ records and found this great F.A.G. website, I was elated. I became a member right away and found much joy in finding my family, my husbands family and also many of our friends that have passed.
I have made contact with other members of F.A.G., through their email address' and the public postings. They have transferred my family members to me for linking and updating information, taken marker pictures and contacted me with additional info. There are so many truly nice people willing to help others in this way and want to thank them. Also many THANKS to the Find-a-Grave originators for this fantastic website for us all to have.

WE ARE HERE TO REMEMBER OUR LOVED ONES THAT HAVE PASSED BEFORE US... TO HONOR THEIR MEMORY WITH REVERENCE AND RESPECT!!
I just keep on smiling and doing my genealogy work for MY family and for MANY others who have asked me to do theirs as well. It is a GREAT place (Find-a-Grave) to add marker photos and pictures of those we are honoring, but most of all adding the 'correct' information and 'linking' all family members together. We know as family members and friends, sometimes information gets posted erroneously so we need to correct those typo errors for our families sake.

You are so welcome. I'm happy to contribute. I had noticed you had these listed under "Ft Logan" instead of "Fort Logan". The second spelling is the actual site for this location, and has over 144,000 records listed. You may want to enter future records under "Fort Logan" to avoid possible duplicate listings, and to be sure your requests are received by the volunteers correctly. Just an FYI! I had too many people ask for transfers who were not related.. had one who stole my whole cem and all the pics..
going thru edit is the correct way to ask for transfers. it makes it easier and faster for one to look up the memorial and then do whatever is requested of them.
I get a lot of ems from people each day, sometimes up to 20, who want me to add info or edit the memorial in one way or the other.
I don't take transfers lightly since I have gotten fooled by some who are collecting surnames.
Before I transfer I want to make absolutely sure you are related.. if you are not, and I transfer to you, then someone ems me and tells me a thing or two.
It is a lot of work in doing these memorials, walking the cems, adding, editing and uploading and cropping photos..
I may not be related to a lot of people I add but I still have respect for them and want to make sure they go to their own family.Added by Oz on Oct 13, 2012 5:31 PM | | | Oz
