The cemetery won't know. They only have names, dates, and grave locations. Try FamilySearch or Ancestry to see if those links have been established.
|Deb||RE: ERNEST STAFFORD HUTTON|
I would be delighted to transfer Earnest Hutton's memorial to your care. I've sent you an email, and will do my best to help with the other Hutton's.

I got an email from you with no message, just your FindaGrave number. If you would like me to transfer any relatives, let me know exactly which ones you'd like.
|Lester Letson||RE: MABEL HILL FIND A GRAVE|
Thank you for letting me know, I changed the name back to Mabel Hill, but unfortunately, I cannot remove the pictures. Since you added them, only you can remove the pictures. You just click on the picture, when it comes up, hit the delete button. I am not allowed to delete your pictures.
Good luck in your searches.

Thank you for your message, Marilyn. The way FindAGrave is set up only the creator of a memorial can delete it. Unfortunately, I can't delete the duplicate memorial but here are the steps to delete therecord:
1) Start with this page:
2) Put this number in the "Memorial #" box 105023606
3) Once you have Chris Snowden's page (the one you want to delete) at the top you will see:
CHRIS SNOWDEN [Edit Name]
Memorial Photos Flowers Edit Share
4) Click on [Delete]
5) A screen will pop up asking for confirmation that you want to delete the memorial.
6) Click on "yes delete this record"
I hope that helps!

Thank you for your kind remarks.
I transferred your grandparents memorials to you a few moments ago.
|Bear Hugs||fFindAGrave Rules & Regulations...|
Marilyn, I am simply quoting FindAGrave rules and regulations in my bio.....I did not make these rules - FindAGrave did. I expect there are copyright issues that FindAgrave does not want to breach.
This is the section that deals with obituaries
This is what I said in my bio:
Although it would be wonderful to provide obituaries and obituary photos for future generations to discover and cherish, FindAGrave rules clearly preclude doing so. Excerpts from FindAGrave rules:
"Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission." …
"Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law."
"Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record."
I hope that helps.

I just received your demand to transfer these memorials to you with no explanation. Are you related to the Alexanders? If so, how?
|Charles Coe||RE: gillis|
I hope that request did not come from me. Anyway I sent you the proper request to link both Robert and your aunt to their father.
You're more than welcome Marilyn - nice to be able to help someone like I was helped -- the 'pay forward' feels good.
