|FamilyRecordKeeper||Glendolene Myrtle Kimmell|
The following link relates the interesting story of GLENDOLENE KIMMELL's life. (Even though her marker has been 'taken', the grounds men can provide precise directions to her spot.) We set a pail of daisies directly atop it, before taking the picture (to be posted soon). http://www.uwyo.edu/robertshistory/school_bells_and_winchesters.htm
|D.A.R.||Re: #99701035 Cuma Schofield,|
The placement of a permanent marker sometimes takes 6 months. You can request a photo of her marker at that time. Just use the "Request Photo" tab on the right hand side of her memorial page. That would make it easier for the person taking the photo.
Have a Nice Day.

|Lynda Puakea||Theresa Gleichweit|
Aloha e Cynthia,
I visited Hawaiian Memorial Park this afternoon... found the plot marker for Theresa, but there is no stone. Checked with the office to be sure I had the correct plot info... I did... but the record doesnʻt show a marker being placed at the grave. So I took a photo of the plot marker, but that is the best I could do.

Glad the photo passed muster. I would normally quit at that point, however, a quick check of the 1930 Fed Census shows Frank as a sailor at Pearl Harbor. He was single at the time. (He remained in the Navy from 1927 to 1933.) In the 1940 Fed Census, Frank, daughter Theresa (8 Years old), and Eva Ne are shown as "lodgers" with another family in Honolulu. Frank's marital status is listed as "divorced," so he and Eva probably were not married at that time. The assumption is that Frank was married and divorced (at least once), to an unknown individual(s), and (at least) one child (Theresa) came from the marriage(s), before he married Eva. And finally, the Social Security Death Index shows the death of a Theresa Gleichweit, in Honolulu, in May 1993 (born 26 April 1931). So, good luck in working with your family in gathering more details about your great uncle Frank. Take care. dbk.
