My eleven-year old son likes to take photos of headstones, and he thinks that, somehow, we can capture the missing 5,000 photos in Greenlawn, Spartanburg. I mostly enjoy the fact that he wants to spend time with his father.
I'm happy to help with any information or photos. I'm even happier to transfer memorials if someone is more closely related to you than me.

The date that the note included was Aug 16 -- I must have goofed when I updated it, so I updated it to the right date -- thanks for pointing it out :-). I went and transferred his memorial to you. I am glad that you and your family were able to make a connection to other family members through him. Did you take any other photo requests while you were at Saint John's cemetery? (I have a few there myself.) I am originally from Yonkers but I live in North Carolina. There does not seem to be too many findagrave volunteers in that area I(for some reason). Fior that reason I have (and continuously) add names to findagrave quite often. I was there in the winter (for a few months). I was taking an online course and I went to several cemeteries (and some I went to quite a bit). | | | k miller

| Find-a-Grave Somme American Cemetery and Memorial

I saw that you have a photo request of your ancestor at the Somme American Cemetery and Memorial in France.
