William Elias Davis is my 5th Great Grandfather. I'm a member of Ancestry.com and putting together my tree. I'm stuck with William, as most info...at this point, is on others family tress with little, to no documentation. Any info you might have would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, documentation on his parents would be great.
Thank you very much,

I Transferred E. W. Davis to you. I Am A DOUBLE DIRECT DESCENDANT OF MY SNELLGROVE AND SNELGROVE FAMILIES. Some of my families spelled SNELLGROVE with 2 LL's and some spelled SNELGROVE with 1 L. Any way I am double direct of MY SNELLGROVE FAMILIES.
I Am Honored To TRANSFER Mr. E. W. DAVIS HIS MEMORIA To You.
I Have Been To The Cemetery Over The Years Growing Up. I Never Had My Camera With Me.

Maybe you can help me since you are related to the Slays. Do you know who Bobby Slay 1933 parents were? He was a nephew of Thaddeus Slay.
Thanks Liz (Slay Family)

My grandmother, Hattie McRee, died when my fa, ther,Fred Everett McRee was about fourteen. Therefore, I never knew her. I can say that my father had great respect for her because all during my life my father attended church services on Mother's Day to honor her. That is the only day of the year that he attended church. I was deeply moved the see my father and mother sitting together in church on that day.

Sorry, I wish I could help you, but I saw your entry for him and added his CSA card. The info was taken from his service cards.
I'll remove it if you want me too.
