Thank you for the photo of the marker for Mary E Willis. I agree, her headstone is in terrible condition and in need of replacing. For now, I am going to try to find out who took the old Polaroid that I saw and maybe get them to scan it to add to her memorial in addition to the photo you took. It wasn't a great photo, but the marker was still readable then, as the photo was probably made in the 1970s. Were most of the other Willis markers also this worn? I hope not; it would be a shame if info was lost forever.

Just noticed that you had claimed my photo request for Mary E Willis for Salem # 2. I have since come across family info from another descendant that indicates that other Willis family members ARE buried there. I can't recall the names at present (and those papers are buried for now), but I would appreciate it if you would check with the cemetery. I believe a son named Milton was buried there. He died when he was a young adult in his 20s if I remember correctly. One other child that I recall. Her Ballew parents may also be buried there. Thank You!
