Bio Photo "I may not be from the South but I got here as soon as I could"

I live in Asheville, North Carolina but travel to South Carolina and Georgia in search of relatives/ancestors graves. I would be more than happy to photograph gravestones from Madison County, North Carolina to Augusta, Georgia and maybe beyond.

My ancestors include Culpeppers, Cunninghams, and Hagers from the South and Pratts and Parkers from the North.

My maternal grandfather may be from the St. Regis Indian reservation which bordered northern New York State and Quebec, Canada. His father's last name was Marche (not sure of the spelling). His father left his pregnant wife at the Warren County Home in Warrensburg, New York around 1903.

My grandfather is listed as Charles Marvin on the 1910 Census living with Harriet Pratt, who is sister-in-law to Lawrence Pratt who later adopts my grandfather (per the 1915 New York Census).

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The headstone/marker pictures are wonderful. All the pictures are good. It is so nice to see the complete site and where they are located. I appreciate your time and kindness in helping me. Thank you. Take care

Thank you very much for taking the time to post the pics of my grandfather's gravesite! I was 12 when he passed and I've visited there several times over the years, but now that I'm a member of Find a Grave, it's great to know that there are volunteers who care about others loved ones!

Thank you very much, Lori Hager!

God bless you and your efforts!!!

The picture of the memorial marker for Fred and Hannah Sams is wonderful. The extra picture of the site showing the location is fabulous along with the close up. Your consideration and kindness is appreciated very much. Thank you for your help. I did not know that there would be a double marker, would you paste the double marker picture and post on Hannah's site. I will request this so that you can get the correct credit. Again, thank you.

RE: Grace and Ulies Cox Pic
Lori,
Sorry it took me a few days to get back with you, but I wanted to stop by the cemetery to make sure I was remembering the order of the graves and I just made it by there today. There are 4 people buried in that section. Looking at your picture from left to right, they are: Grace W. Cox, Allie B. Cox, Ulies L. Cox, and Mary C. Owens. There is an empty spot between Grace and Allie and the other whole row is empty.
I hope this helps you! Shelley
