Cecil Monroe Shipley
Hi Sherry, my father was Cecil Shipley and his father was Jacob Monroe Shipley . I have just started working on my family tree. Are you related to the Shipley.? I came across the name of sherry Cruise in my research. Thanks!

RE: Cruise Tombstone
Thanks Sherry! My husband and I love taking the photos for families who are unable to get there in person.
We live within 40 miles of Hebron. We live around Beaver Crossing Nebraska.
And thanks for the personal email also! It means a lot!
Glad we were able to help!

Logan Beck
Hello, Sherry- I'm stunned to find someone interested in Logan Beck! I don't know a lot about him before he married my great grandmother, Elizabeth Slover Lemmon, a young widow with a small daughter, Edna, who was my grandmother. You probably know Logan and Elizabeth had two sons, James Ralph and Harry Maurice. James Ralph, b. 1896, had a son, James Ralph Jr., who died in 2010.

James Sr. was my grandmother's (Edna) half-brother, and the two were always very close. I spent quite a bit of time around him when I was young. His son, James Jr., was my favorite cousin. I do have some information given to me by Jim which I'd be happy to share with you if you're researching Logan.

Logan and Elizabeth are buried not far from my grandparents in Corvallis. For the record, I'm a native Oregonian.

I'd enjoy hearing from you.

Regards,
Virginia
