|I have been doing research on my family for years. I enjoy looking up and finding my ancestors and finding others who are doing the same. I am married and have a wonderful husband who supports me in this.|
I am sorry but had to suspend being a photo volunteer due to illness but will resume as soon as possible.

|GLS||RE: Your relationship to Spore|
I would love to have your connection to the Kendle/Spore branch of my family. I like for my database to be as complete and accurate as possible. GLSpore

|GLS||Your relationship to Spore|
I'm another person you apparently think you are related to. You posted on my g-gf David Spore's memorial that he was your 4th g-gf. That would make you the same generation as my g-gkids, but I don't find you in my database. I have 57 4th g-grandchildren for David, so where do you fit in?

|Richard Witham||3rd cousin|
You indicated that you were a third cousin to my father Clarence Witham.
How are you related?
|Chad Williams||RE: Williams relation|
I've been a bit confused on the Mary Elizabeth Spore relationship to Nancy "Lucas" McClellan. In the 1900 & 1910 Censuses, it says she was born in 1851 - which would have made her Lucinda Barlow's daughter, Volney's 1st wife (Volney and Mary married in 1852). Her tombstone is totally wrong on the year. It says 1863, but she appeared in the 1860 census as 7 years old (1853) and 1870 census as 17 years old (1853), which would make her Mary Elizabeth Spore's daughter. Since I don't know when Volney's 1st wife died, it's kinda a mystery right now. Any ideas???
|Chad Williams||Williams relation|
Hi - I'm Chad Williams. You've left messages on both my father's and grandfather's grave site. My father was Melvin W Williams and grandfather was George B Williams. You stated George was your 4th cousin and my dad Melvin was your 5th cousin. I've been working on my family's genealogy for years now, but I can't seem to locate you on my family tree. If I might ask, how are you related to my family. Thanks!!!
I created a memorial for John W. Crizer in the Windy Cove cemetery with a photo of him from the book, Images of America: Bath County, Virginia, by Margo Oxendine.

I found the answer to my question. Andrew Crizer was born in 1848 in Nimrod Hall, Bath Co., and died Jan. 6, 1921 in San Jose, Ca. He was a son of Addison Crizer and Harriet M. Dill.

Hi Sandy, thanks for your reply. I don't know if you have ever visited the Bath Co. Hist. Society, but they have a large envelope of (mostly) unidentified Lyle family photos that were donated by Mary Frances Lyle, descendant of Andrew F. Lyle. I've only been able to identify a few of them. I'd like to send you an invite to my family tree on Ancestry if you're interested. One of the photos (I believe) is Jeannette Cox Lyle, Ben Lyle, Jr.'s wife.

Sandy, is this Andrew Crizer, Margaret's brother? I have a photo of him from the Bath Co. Historical Society. If this is him, I will add his photo.

I noticed on Ben's memorial you said "RIP 1st cousin". Are you related to him, and if so, how? I see that you are also on Ancestry. I've been researching my father's Lyle family for several years.
