RE: Have an Important question
Did you receive the story on Mr. Webb? I sent it to the email address you sent, I also wrote you a note and it came back as undelivered, so I am afraid you may not have gotten the story either. Let me know.

RE: Have an Important question
If you will send me your email address, I will send you a story. I wrote a little book I titled "Stories my Papa used to tell" and I have a story in there about uncle Gilbert. I can send the story to you. I think you'll enjoy it. I have tried to get a photo of Mr. Webb's headstone in Colonia Juarez, but never have been able to. One guy told me the next time he went down there, he'd take a picture for me, but I don't imagine many people are going down there since there have been so many murders on both sides of the border. I know I wouldn't go there.

RE: Have an Important question
Interesting question! Well for one thing, I have lived in Arizona nearly all my life and know much of the history of the state and the people who lived there. We lived in both Graham and Greenlee Counties. Then another thing, my father knew old "uncle Gilbert" in old Mexico where my my grandfather had a contract building railroads for the government. He knew a lot of the Mormons in the Colonies and some of them worked on the railroads. He often told me things about Mr. Webb, and related stories the old man told my dad. My father always respected the old man, and was sorry that he got himself into so much trouble and had to leave the country, never to return home. Out of respect tho, he always called him "Uncle Gilbert". Are you a Webb relative and do you live in Arizona or perhaps Colonia Juarez? I am sure you've heard the story of the Wham Robbery. If you'd care to hear one of the stories about Mr. Webb that my father related to me, let me know.
