RE: Theresa Richmond at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
I already did pics for John B and Victoria Richmond as well as for Margaret Richmond as they were requested by another person.

Theresa Richmond at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
You created a memorial for Theresa Richmond but with place of burial unknown. I recently took photos of the Richmond plot at Holy Sepulchre and there is a stone marker that says "Victoria A Richmond" and under that it says "Teresa H". The spelling may be different but it looks like she is buried there.

If you look at the top photo on the memorial for Victoria Avezzano Richmond at 90384460, you can see the stone in the lower corner. There's also a photo of the entire Richmond plot.

Two other stones have the names "Bob Hahn" and "Devereaux" on them.

If you'd like photos on her memorial, just make the usual request.

RE: Family names
I am looking for Martin's mostly. I'm trying to find which Martin family my hubby belongs to. There are so many names! I believe he belongs to the Abram/John/Zachariah Martin line.

Frank Jacob Pulford
Debbie...My family research shows Stella Dimmick being a wife to Dr Frank Jacob Dimmick. Stella would be my 5 cousin 3 times removed. I have them marrying 17 Apr 1874 and she dying 18 Aug 1898. She and the Infant Pulford are buried together in Dimmick Family Plantation Cemetery, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, USA. (see Find A Grave Memorial# 105760307 and 105760672). There are no photos I'm afraid. I can only surmise that she either died in childbirth or shortly thereafter since he married Bertha Saizan in 1901. I only have the information that I have gotten via Ancestry or Find A Grave. Regards John

RE: Yellow Fever Cemetery
I called town hall...they are telling me that "the woman" that used to take care of the cemeteries retired. The current staff hasn't a clue about the cems anymore except the map on the wall of Cedar Hill, and that is a very old, fragile map.

I called a week ago and the girl was supposed to talk to "the retired lady" and call me back. Of course that hasn't happened. Not sure where to go with it next, I wish I could take care of the paperwork on the cems, as it really isn't being handled properly at all now.

Did I duplicate the memorial? Do you want me to transfer ownership to you?

If I duped it I am very sorry, I must have missed it!

I'm not related in any way and would be happy to transfer ownership to you if I don't need to delete the memorial.

RE: Kavanah
I wonder did all of the interments really die of yellow fever? There are people there without their spouses...that is sad.

RE: Yellow Fever Cemetery
Yes, it's in awful shape. Especially considering this cem is one that the town itself takes care of. Seems all they do is mow the grass and move on.

There is a good list of who's in there online. I think someone should go update it and make sure the entire listing is there. I will do it as I can but it may take me a while as I'm working on other cems as well.

The link to the cem: http://www.la-cemeteries.com/Transcriptions/St.%20Landry/OldWashingtonCemetery/Transcription.htm

There's almost nothing left to photograph at that cem to shoot. We shot all the headstones we could find, my friend even used paper & lead to read the horizontal ones.

Good luck!
