Bio and Links
Bio Photo Started researching both parent's families in 1999. Many relatives live in IL, since I was born and raised there, however, my immediate family lives all over the USA, and I live in New Jersey.

My relatives came from Czechoslovakia, Germany, and France. My initial inquiry on Roots Web in 1999 about my G-G-Grandfather, Johann, was answered within a few days from a cousin in Germany. Johann, emigrated from Ihrlich, Prussia with his mother, 2 of his brothers and a sister to Zanesville, OH, in 1837, and then Johann moved to IL in 1857. My German cousin and I both visited Zanesville, and then we went to IL to do more research.

I am always looking for any Czech. relatives with the last name of Jiruska. I have written and talked to many and they all claim they are not related to me. How sad my G-G-Grandfather had no one here when he arrived at age 15.

Through this site, I have been able to add and view my relative's and friend's memorials. I found this site many years ago, but didn't join it as a contributor until later. I appreciate all the work that everyone on F-A-G has done, and hope that I will be able to help many families.

Middleton Memerial pictured as my bio photo can be found at the Blackwood Presbyterian Cemetery in Blackwood, NJ. It once must have been a beautiful memorial, but has not been maintained too well.

Joseph Cramer

My great-grandfather was Joseph Cramer who died in 1902 in Chicago. He was married to Ida Schulz and they had my grandmother, Lillian Cramer, in Mar 1902. Do you have any further info?

Thanks! Kathy

Hamilton, Erial Cemetery
It appears you added your headstone picture to the Samuel/Dorothy folks.
I want to thank you for taking the time to go to the cemetery and post the photo. It is great. So much better than the one I took.
Regards, Jane

RE: I should have looked!
No you posted to perhaps 2 of the interred. I did the others with a bum shot of the stone and would much appreciate you putting yours to the others and I will delete mine. Thanks,Jane

Hi again, see you posted this, this year. When did you take the photo? Jane

I see you posted the headstone to Baby Hamilton in Erial Cemetery. It is so much nicer than the one I did. Would you add yours to Sam, Dorothy, Mary Pearl and Samuel? Then I will delete mine.
Sorry to say that the angel on the stone was quickly stolen. No respect for the dead.
Thank you, Jane Hamilton

RE: Vaclav Wenzel Holub

Thank you for your kind email.

Here is a link to the Holub-surname directory on my RootsWeb site.

If the above link doesn't work try searching by the name garvinroots.

Perhaps there is further information there that might be of help to you.
