Ruth Miller Stats
Ruth's Mother, Hattie Grace, was a Kanney. Her other daughter, Pearl, wrote a journal on her memories and had a grand daughter type it out. Copies were made, and given to family. I have one, and got some of the information out of it. You can use whatever you need out of the memorial. I just used some of the information I found on Ancestry, to go farther on Henry Miller's page in our tree. Good Luck on your book. Rickie

Good to hear from you so soon. Herb Bowling if I
remember correctly is the son of Dr. Bowling the
Chiropractor my mother used to take me to. Herb
is around my brother Cliff's age and I think they
were sort of friends. He had a sister named Mable
who was my deceased sister's age. Anyway I wrote
down you number and will try to call you this week
end but am having company so may not be able too.
Will call some time though. Please tell me your
father's name. I think I told you I am Lelia
Leyda and Leo Foster's daughter. Rhoda's dau.
Myra Belle Chrisman is my grandmother and she married
John F. Leyda. I love connecting with relative
no matter how distant. Alice

RE: Rhoda Ann Bowling Crisman
I see someone has taken pictures of the Bowling
graves. I see now, you are the one who put up
the new headstone. Thank you. Have you had your
DNA done? I don't understand anything about DNA
but I see on the Bowling website that Charles is
Group 6. Do you know anything more? Do you have
a clue who Charles parents were?Is the even our
Charles? Many have said
John and Ursala but as far as I can see they
have just copied others tree. Actually I am
interested in the pictures you have. You haven't
heard from me, I have had major surgery and haven't
felt very well but doing better now.

How are you connected to the Bowlings? I think I
told you Rhoda is my Great Grandmother. Her dau
Belle married J. Fred Leyda and their daughter
Lelia was my mother. She married Leo Foster. My
brother Cliff had a insurance office on the south
side the Blf. square until a couple years ago.
Love to hear from you. If I were a man named Bowling I would submit my DNA. Alice

RE: Rhoda Ann Bowling Crisman
Rhoda Bowling is my Great Grandmother. She married
John Crisman and their daughter Myra Belle
Crisman married Fred Leyda and their daughter
Lelia is my mother. I was born and raised in
Davis Co Iowa. Are you one of the Bowling from
that areas? I have done some research on
the Bowling and know they came from Virginia
but can't connect our Bowling with Pochontatoes
as has been rumored in my family. Love to hear
more. Alice
