Regarding the daughter of Thomas and Effie....Her name was Peachy....not a nickname I think Peachy Fay Evans ...she married Golden Corey.
She was a wonderful person. Golden and Peachy were avid hunters and their home had MANY trophy heads.

Mahala Thurman Shrum
I am Ken Witt doing genealogical research. James Shrum (or Schrum as the Family spells it) was my Great Grandfather and August was my Grandfather. That makes Mahala my Great Grand mother. I cannot find any facts about her and am wondering what happened to her.

Mother Loretta Ginnan
I see that you have left a rose for Mother Loretta Ginnan in the Ursuline Convent Cemetery in Arcadia, Missouri. Is this a relative? I am trying to find out more info on her. She is my first cousin twice removed. Thanks. Jackie

Hi Marie, I have just been going over my Sutterfield relatives when I noticed you have the above in the wrong Sutterfield cemetery. You have the correct picture to the cemetery but the wrong one linked. He is buried in the following:
West Fork Cemetery, County Road 844, West Fork, Reynolds County, MO. - this is the Sutterfield cemetery where this lineage is buried. I hope you'll take the time to make the change. Thank you. Sincerely, Verna (vgsocal - Find A Grave ID 48274601)

Marie, I'm sure I have photographed the grave stone. I will add it to the memorial soon - although it is a busy time of year with the holidays quickly approaching. Happy Holidays to you!

RE: el carmen

I believe I got all the memorials I created that you requested transferred over. I'm happy they are in loving hands of their relatives. I never finished taking pictures at El Carmen, I don't know if you live by there or not, however, if not, I do intend on finish up that cemetery, I was about half done.

God Bless,

Peachy was married to Golden I think his last name was Corey. They lived in St. Louis, Mo. They hunted, I remember going to their house and near having heart failure because something behind me...startled me....there were animal trophies on every

James Evans
Peachy married Golden...and I can't at this time remember his last name, Corbett? I knew Jim's momma, she was living in a log cabin in the early 70's which we helped pull down, hoping not to disturb a nest of copperheads or such in the process. Jim purchased her a mobile home with a gas stove. Jim's wife, Helen had to take the knobs off because Miss Evans would turn them on, sometimes with no flame. One summer we stayed there for a couple of weeks while Jim, Helen and the kids went to Colorado to visit her family. Miss Evans would rake the side of the creek bed. One day I went over and heard voices. I asked Miss Evans if she had company. "I'm just talking to my Lord," she replied. email me and I will try to remember what I can. I was talking to Jim's ex wife, Helen a few weeks ago.
