RE: Johan Peter
You are welcome. As far as providing relationships, I've generally seen only the relationship to the person whose memorial it is--just as you said it was your husband's great-grandfather. I don't think listing the family tree down to you or your husband is necessary.

If you find any additional memorials I maintain that are in your ancestral line, just let me know. I am related to Johnsons also, but as far as I know, none in Utah.

Johan "John" Peter Johnson
I was able to determine which one you were talking about, and so I've already transferred to you. Best wishes.

RE: Johan Peter
Hi Kirsten,
If you create a memorial and wish to maintain it, then you don't have to transfer it. The rule, though, spelled out by Find a Grave (in the Help with Find A Grave listed to the left of the screen under Actions) states "if the memorial in question is a direct relative within 4 generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter is not direct family," then they should transfer to you under the rule of the Find A Grave "Family First" policy. You would need to provide the relationship. I generally will transfer to others if they are not within the 4-generation rule but are related to the person whose memorial it is unless I too am related. I don't always transfer, though. I want to make sure they will maintain the memorial I created. In the past I transferred some that were then deleted and the person created new ones. If you see any memorial I maintain that are in your family, please let me know you'd like to maintain it, and provide me with the memorial #. You do this by using the Edit tab at the top and letting me know. In this case you were talking about Johan Peter, but I need the memorial #.

Regards, Brenda
