|I stumbled onto Find A Grave quite by accident. I was just playing around to see what I could still find on the Internet about my mother and sister who had died some years ago. How delighted I was to be able to visit their graves even though we are 1,500 miles apart. I am greatful for so many people contributing so much of their time to make this happen for me. I have found many other relatives. Even my Great Grandfather who fought in the Civil War. I hope to begin to contribute more, even if it has to wait for me to retire. (I am a teacher you see, who works long hours and never catches up). I have often strolled about cemetaries and wondered about the residents' lives. |
I live with my husband, my father, my husband's father, Sophi, Daisy Bell (our Boston Terrier and Boxer dogs), Ditto, and Candela ( our Polish Arabian and Paso Fino horses). I enjoy nature, hiking, camping, and horseback riding. I got my name Dances with Hooves as a trail name to use on the Appalachian Trail. It represents my love of horses. My friend who thought of the idea, was inspired by the title of my favorite movie, "Dances with Wolves".
