RE: Frederick Holmes Cook
Dear Kaycy,
My father is a retired Fireman who spent his last working years at the San Jose Airport in Calif. Luckily, he retired back in the 1980's, but he still had a risky job and went on numerous calls during his career that he would tell me about. I'd say a prayer for him when he went to work his shift. I am so sorry for your grandfather's loss. I think highly of the police, especially since they got a wanted felon (bank robber) out of my basement one day after he kicked in my basement window when the police were chasing him thru Portland; I was just coming home from work & came around the corner in time to see about five officers raiding my house! All I could think of was my 12 yr. old son who I thought was inside. Luckily, the police had gotten him out after a neighbor told the police our dog was barking at a broken window. I hugged him like there was no tomorrow! I also wrote letters for the officers who had gotten my son out safely & gotten that man out of my house (I saw them bring him out in handcuffs.)! I appreciate the fact that their jobs are dangerous & was so grateful for their help that day, will never forget them or any officer.

RE: Anita Cook Haney
These Haneys are interred in a columbarium. There are a couple of hundred niches there. These were the only Haneys I saw in the immediate area. I did check the cemetery records and confirmed that Anita is with Roy and Ida. Forest Lawn has a very useful website forest lawn.com and if you know the first initial you may be able to find more folks.

RE: John Cook
Oops! I took 5 photos today, and apparently uploaded the wrong one for John. I redid it, so it should be right. Thanks for letting me know right away! Michele

Thanks for taking the photo. It is a good photo, even with the grass and weeds. I appreciate it.
