Bob, You have uploaded a picture of a cemetery (Mt Zion)that belongs to the Mt Zion A.M.E. church cemetery in Georgetown Sc, not Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Beech Island, S.C. I know was just at the Mt Zion A.M.E. cemetery on 2/8/2014 The Mt Zion Baptist cemetery is in Beech Island,SC and that is where Sgt. Aaron is buried.

No problem Bob, to make it easier next time you'd like connections made, please go to the memorial page and click on the edit tab on the top right, click on the line on submitting a change. That way, it'll open right up to the memorial for the changes to be made.

I have relatives buried in St. Mary's Cemetery. It's a very old cemetery.....i'm sure that there are many stones missing. I'm not sure who you could write to but being that the records are very old and prob. illegible i think the people responsible for them at the Church would be very hesitant to go near them. I was able to view them at the Family History Center (Latter Day Saints).....they have centers all over the Country. As far as a travel from Dick Road and Broadway to Lancaster at the turn of the Century. I don't think it would have been out of the question. St. Mary's is right off of Broadway in Lancaster.....Depew is the next town over where dick and Broadway are. Maybe an hours drive by wagon. Depends on the weather and how fast the horses feel like going!
Hope this helps....

Thank you so very very much for taking this photo for me, I have been looking for so long to find her marker, after finding it, realized it was 7 hours from my home.
Debt of gratitude

You are correct she is not a relative but I really appreciate seeing photos of whom a memorial is made. I love photos of the past and only wish I could be so lucky to have them of my ancestors. Thank you for your consideration. Diane
