Guidelines on names
Hi Bob...before you get too far into entering memorials here are the guidelines on entering names.
----------------
Memorial Naming Conventions: Non-famous Memorials
If a hyphen or an apostrophe is part of the name, use the punctuation.
Use a period after names where only an initial is known. If the full name is known, use the full name and not the initial.
Do not use any other punctuation within any Name Field.
Do not use Full capitalization (ALL-CAPS) of names in any Name Field.
Suffixes and Prefixes do not belong in any Name Field.
--------------------
Hope this helps

Ida M Goff
Hi Bob,
You asked me to connect Ida to her mother Catherine Fleishman Enders. I did some checking on your suspicions of relationship and did find the 1880 census with Catharine Houtz as HH and Ida M born 1869, age 11 as the youngest child of Catherine with older siblings Anna M, Charles and William. So I believe you are correct. However, the person who posted Ida is the only one who can connect Ida to her mother Catharine. Its a one way process only, so I am unable to connect children to parents if I didn't post the child.

Please contact the lady who posted Ida.

Thanks, Janet

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. We've been busy photographing a 7,000+ cemetery.
I will get out to Pine Hall very soon and let you know the children's names.

Mt Zion cemetery photo
Bob, You have uploaded a picture of a cemetery (Mt Zion)that belongs to the Mt Zion A.M.E. church cemetery in Georgetown Sc, not Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Beech Island, S.C. I know was just at the Mt Zion A.M.E. cemetery on 2/8/2014 The Mt Zion Baptist cemetery is in Beech Island,SC and that is where Sgt. Aaron is buried.

RE: PEARL BLAIR #5341802
No problem Bob, to make it easier next time you'd like connections made, please go to the memorial page and click on the edit tab on the top right, click on the line on submitting a change. That way, it'll open right up to the memorial for the changes to be made.
Thanks
Cindy

RE: MARY KAUFFMAN
Hi Bob......

I have relatives buried in St. Mary's Cemetery. It's a very old cemetery.....i'm sure that there are many stones missing. I'm not sure who you could write to but being that the records are very old and prob. illegible i think the people responsible for them at the Church would be very hesitant to go near them. I was able to view them at the Family History Center (Latter Day Saints).....they have centers all over the Country. As far as a travel from Dick Road and Broadway to Lancaster at the turn of the Century. I don't think it would have been out of the question. St. Mary's is right off of Broadway in Lancaster.....Depew is the next town over where dick and Broadway are. Maybe an hours drive by wagon. Depends on the weather and how fast the horses feel like going!

Hope this helps....

Donna
