James Newville (Unmarked Grave)

Thank you so much for your kind efforts and notes. I wondered why others had an error in their family tree and James date of death. His birth, death and marriage has been guessed upon many times, but in all reality his Obituary says differently then most genealogical trails lead to in assumption.

James Newville was born December in Vermont 1777 and at an early age was located to Saratoga NY and later in life he followed the great wave of migration west to Minnesota. The date of death recorded in his obituary was April 1885 at 107 years of age and 4 months.

James Married Helenore in NY Saratoga Half Moon Lake area of the Mohawk Tribe and his mother was also of Indian descent with only the name of Rachel recorded. His father John Newville married Rachel before migrating from Quebec to the states and this is the first Newville family recorded in America but first it was Novell and De Novell before this as recorded in Quebec.

Their are little records and nothing of Helenors death, so she too may just be one of the unknowns in this area as well unless she followed her children to either Michigan or Ohio....

RE: Yvonne Passe # 121669787

Unfortunately the two photos that you uploaded for Yvonne were much better than the new photo. We could download from Yvonne and re-upload. Naturally, I would be happy to do that but I would just as soon you kept the credit. We can leave the existing as well.
