Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Princeton NJ and came back to live in the area many years ago. I have been actively doing genealogy for the past 3 years and have been helped immensely by by the contributions to FindaGrave, so I'm trying to give back to the community by photographing grave markers when I can. Besides genealogy I really enjoy singing with two different choirs, and traveling - sometimes doing both at the same time!

Hi Sandy

I was new to FindAGrave, so I don't know. If you find out, please let me know and I will correct it if needed.

You sent me a request to add his wife, Stella, but the memorial you listed for her is the same as the one for Alexander. Please use the Edit button and add the correct memorial number for his spouse. Thank you!

RE: Memorial #103002677

I upload cemetery registers, and this is not anyone I've connected, so that edit had to come from another member. Sadly, I do not have knowledge of this person. If it is incorrect, feel free to change it to what you know is correct and I'll get the edit processed.

Johnson Family Cemetery
Oh, my dear, if you thought it was horribly overgrown in November you should have been there in August 2013 with my daughter & me!

My husband is a direct descendant of Rutger Johnson through his son Garret and grandson Robert who emigrated to VA (where we are from).

May I assume you were not able to find a specific stone for Rutger or his wife? The thorns and wildlife thoroughly defeated us in high summer! We visited Garret in his well- manicured resting place in Pennington & then repaired to the closest winery.......

You referenced an article in your message to Joe Klett. I would love to be directed to that article if you would be so kind.

RE: Johnson Family Cemetery
Thanks Sandra. I will check out your additions. Have been there too--a few years back. Please hold onto the memorials you added for now. I do have the GMNJ article. I'll be going back to the Johnson Burial Ground memorials soon, and will be in touch. Thanks again and best regards. -Joe

Thank you so much for your help in this cemetery! I'm so glad you found and photographed the graves of my g.g.g.aunt Anna, her husband, and his family!
